Delivery & Payment Information:
Delivery of Goods
We can deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, the European Union and Rest of the World although for deliveries to EU countries, non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands there will be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery lead times. Delivery charges for the UK, EU countries and Rest of the world are shown during the shopping basket, check out process of our web site.
Goods can be delivered either to your home address, to an alternative address or to your work address.
Shipping Method
Customers will have the option to select from the following range of Shipping options (Delivery Methods) at different costs:
· UK Standard: Items shipped by this method will be despatched within 3 working days following the date of payment by Royal Mail Standard Post and will generally be delivered with your normal post. Customers should expect to receive their item within 7 working days.
· UK Recorded: (Some items will only be shipped by this method) Items shipped by this method will be despatched within 3 working days following the date of payment by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery Post. This is a more secure method of delivery and Royal Mail will require a signature on delivery. If no one is available to receive the package a ‘calling card’ will be left informing customers that the package has been returned to the nearest Postal Depot awaiting collection. In these circumstances customers should collect their package within 7 days, or the item will be returned to sender. Customers should expect to receive their item within 7 working days.
· UK Special: We can send your order by Special Delivery, which is guaranteed to get to you or your stated delivery address the following working day (Including Saturday, but not Sunday or national bank holidays). Orders to be despatched by special delivery have to be received by 3.00pm on the day prior to delivery or the package will not be despatched until the following day. Special Delivery option is subject to stock availability and full payment having been received. Please note that Royal Mail require a signature for these deliveries, so someone needs to be available to sign for it at the delivery address.
· Europe: This applies to European Union (EU) country customers. Items shipped by this method will be despatched within 3 working days following the date of payment by Royal Mail International Standard Air Mail or International ‘Signed for’ Air Mail (dependant on the value of the item/s purchased). Items may need a signature on delivery. Customers should expect to receive their item within 7 working days.
· Rest of the World: This method applies to customers outside of the European Union (EU). Items shipped by this method will be despatched within 3 working days following the date of payment by Royal Mail International Standard Air Mail or International ‘Signed for’ Air Mail (dependant on the value of the item/s purchased). Items may need a signature on delivery. Customers should expect to receive their item within 10 working days.
Delivery Charges
If a product is available to purchase online, post and packaging is charged in addition to the prices shown (Unless otherwise stated).
The total shipping charges are illustrated in the ‘Shopping Basket’ and ‘Check Out’ phase of the web store purchase.
We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. The delivery charge depends on the size and weight of the product ordered and the destination it is being delivered to.
When you add products to your shopping basket the appropriate shipping charge will be added automatically. The total shipping charge will be shown clearly throughout the purchase process.
Delivery Times
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.
We will aim to despatch your chosen item within 3 working days following the date of receipt of payment by credit /debit card or 3 working days after clearance of your cheque to our bank account (See terms concerning payment by cheque). We therefore aim to deliver your chosen item/s within 7 working days following the day of receipt of payment, providing the goods are in stock, unless a longer delivery time is shown on the product information page.
Deliveries to non - UK Mainland (Overseas) or remote locations may take longer.
Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.
Goods delivered by courier or Royal Mail Recorded delivery should arrive between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. It may be possible to deliver on Saturdays but this is not guaranteed. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for re-delivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot.
Royal Mail will only hold on to items for 7 days then return them to our main office. We will re-despatch items on return but this will incur a further fee. Items can take up to 4 weeks to return to this office.
We will despatch items by ‘Special Delivery’ or ‘Next day’ delivery at an additional fee and so long as the order is placed by 3pm the day prior to delivery. The customer must contact us direct by 3pm the day previous to arrange this facility. GraficArt webstore will not accept liability for an item not delivered in time when the item has been despatched in accordance with our terms and conditions and the item is out of our control. Late delivery Compensation may be available through the courier or Royal Mail as they are the delivery agents.
IMPORTANT
We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
Customers should contact us after 7 working days following the day of purchase of their chosen item (refer to terms when payment is by cheque), if they have not received their item or they have not received a delivery card from the Royal Mail or Courier Service.
We will not consider replacing items or refunding monies, if damaged items are not reported within 3 days following the day of receipt.
PAYMENT
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express.
You can safely enter your credit card or debit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.
OTHER PAYMENT METHODS
You may also pay for your merchandise by cheque or money/postal order. To use this method of payment, take details of the item/s you wish to purchase from the ‘shopping basket’ phase and send us a note including the details of the item/s you wish to purchase and mail your request together with your payment as illustrated in the ‘shopping basket’:
